Matt was originally from Allentown, where he met Todd during elementry school. While in high school (Northampton) he worked for Weis Markets with Todd, Tim, Steve, and former bassist, Van. During his freshman year of college, Matt was contacted by Todd for help with the band website. Matt ended up loaning some drum hardware after watching the "Club Carrigan Battle of the Bands" video at a party. Soon after he was asked to sit in for a practice, and has been with Ace Decade ever since.

Matt graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology in December of 2002, receiving a Bachelors degree in Technology Management in addition to an Associates degree in Electronics Technology with Computer Automation/Maintenance emphasis. He currently works near Philly for Comcast Business Communications.
